Marc and Jan Newson welcome you to Canterbury House for a comfortable and relaxing stay in their 4 Star Silver Award guest accommodation in the Regency town of Sidmouth, East Devon.
The house, built in the early 1800's, sits in a lovely position close to the River Sid and the National Trust parkland 'The Byes'. An easy and level 5 minute stroll takes you into the town with its variety of shops, restaurants and pubs, and to the picturesque Jurassic Coast seafront where you can enjoy a walk along the promenade. Canterbury House is also perfectly situated for exploring the delights of the nearby fishing villages, the wonderful East Devon and Dorset countryside, or further a-field such as Exeter, Dartmouth, Torquay and Cornwall.
We have comfortable, spacious en-suite bedrooms comprising a single, doubles and twins, two of which are at ground floor level. All rooms are well equipped and are designed for your comfort with freeview TV, hot complimentary drinks tray, hairdryer and radio alarm clock. All en-suites have heated towel rails and shaver points.
